India on Wednesday allowed an additional 10,000 tonnes of onion exports to the UAE through the National Cooperative Exports Ltd (NCEL), according to a notification issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).Last month, the government permitted shipments of 14,400 tonnes to the emirates even as it extended a ban on onion exports till further orders, which was initially enforced from December 8, 2023 till March 31, 2024.
