Qatar has successfully secured membership in ‘WTO Chairs Programme’, despite fierce competition from over 100 academic institutions representing member states.
The membership was secured through a collaborative project between the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Hamad Bin Khalifa University, supported by the Qatar Research, Development, and Innovation Council. The project was submitted by the Ministry through its office at World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva.
